Business-Focused Programs
The results of a recent Eduventures survey revealed that corporate education and training executives are primarily interested incollege and university certificate programs that have applicable business-related subject areas, including, but not limited to business management and administration (59%), communications (46%), information technology and computer science (45%), and leadership (41%). The survey participants clearly believed that college and university certificate programs will need to include skill areas like, problem-solving, interpersonal communication, and teamwork/collaboration skills.The survey found that over 65% of employers are more likely to pursue programs that offer online college and university certificate programs than those offered strictly as traditional on-campus classes.
