Career Colleges and Technical Schools

The U.S. Department of Education offers a vast amount of information pertaining to enrollment in career colleges and technical schools for students. These institutions offer great alternatives for students that do not plan to pursue the once typical college track. The Department of Education states that there are many paths for high school graduates to take in life, “One path is to earn a certificate, degree, or diploma from a career college or technical school that will train you for a specific career, trade, or profession. Those schools train students for a variety of technical positions, including automotive technician, computer technician, hairstylist, medical assistant, and truck driver”.
