Great Companies To Work For After Graduation

Now that you have earned your college degree you may be feeling a bit uneasy about your future. You begin to worry about paying back student loans, what step to take next and establishing a working life after college.
Since last year, the number of college grads being hired has declined and starting salaries also have dipped. Only 20% of grads who have applied for a job actually got one and out of those who are working, 73% had completed a college internship of some kind.

In light of this not-so-good news, there are some very good companies that are considered top employers for college graduates. They offer good advancement opportunities through the company and great starting salaries and benefits.

The top places to launch a great career are: Deloitte, Ernst and Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers, KPMG, U.S. State Department, Goldman Sachs, Teach for America, Target, J.P. Morgan and IBM. This list was compiled by Business Week Magazine and only includes companies who took part in their survey. Google, for example, was ranked number seven last year but declined to take part in the survey.
