The top 10 colleges and universities with the highest ethnic diversity are located in the Eastern part of the United States. These schools were ranked based upon the criteria developed by Philip Meyer and Shawn McIntosh in 1992 in the International Journal of Public Opinion Research.

  • Nyack College (NY) (African-American, 37%)
  • St. Peter’s College (NJ) (Hispanic, 25%)
  • CUNY–Brooklyn College (African-American, 31%)
  • College of Mount St. Vincent (NY) (Hispanic, 29%)
