Making Managers

Students and professionals seeking careers in management should be prepared for a rewarding and challenging experience. Most managerial professions have obtain at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a similar specialty. Their duties can cover every aspect of a company or organization’s functions. Managers are frequently called upon by business owners or board members to recommend improvements in investments, procedures, products, shipping, services, accounting methods and staffing to help improve the organizations profitability or ability to meet it’s goals. A manager’s level of responsibility can vary, even within the same business. Just as responsibilities can vary, so can salaries with many managers earning anything from $35k to $250k annually. Some really fortunate managers make even more than six-figure salaries.
