The reasons for the high demand for nurses is many. First of all, the current nursing population is aging and reaching the age of retirement. People born between 1946 and 1964 are growing older and there is is need or nurses. Thirdly, health care is shifting away from doctor care to nursing. If you are thinking of earning a college degree, consider becoming either a licensed practical nurse or a registered nurse. You can earn a bachelor’s degree and have yourself in great shape to become an RN. Rns have the best chance of advancement and make the most money.
