Obtaining Information
Another useful method for graduating high school students to obtain information about careers in their chosen fields of interest is to speak to someone in the human resources department or employment office of local businesses and companies that they would like to get a job.
The students could inquire about any special skills, certifications or licenses the business or company requires it’s employees to have as a pre-requisite to employment. Many of these company staff members can even recommend career colleges and technical schools that offer the programs and training required for employment.
