Online Course vs. Campus Courses
There are countless numbers of colleges and universities that offer online courses today. Taking college courses online has become very popular, especially in these poor economic times.
There are great advantages to studying at home. You can do the day’s work at your own pace and when you want, as long as you can keep up with the daily, weekly and monthly requirements.
You will no doubt save quite a bit of money by taking online courses, as you do not have to spend money on gasoline that you would have to do if you were attending campus courses.
Studying at home is also great if you work during the daytime hours and cannot attend day classes at your local college. You can go online to get your assignments and then do the work in the evenings after you get home from work.
There are also some disadvantages to taking online courses. You will not have the added benefit of the personal contact with your instructor and fellow students when you work at home. Students who take courses on-campus have the advantage of talking to fellow students, sharing ideas and even socializing with like-minded individuals.
You will have to decide for yourself whether you would like to take your college courses online or on a college campus, as both methods of study have their positive points, as well as the negative.
