The Essential College Admissions
Before a high school graduate can proceed to the college or university of his choice, completing the requirements for college admissions is very essential. A high school diploma and report card is typically required of every college applicant.
Taking the ACT and SAT examinations comes next, which must be completed and passed. Colleges and universities have different standards when it comes to accepting enrollees; however a good scholastic record and an excellent participation in extra-curricular activities are commonly favored by higher institutions, along with an excellent rating in the SAT and ACT.
Although the SAT focused on problem solving tests in the past, it has now included a writing test for students as well. The ACT also features an optional writing examination, lasting 30 minutes. ACT moreover tests the student’s knowledge on facts, mathematics, and grammar. Normally, an application essay is also required from applicants, making it one of the crucial components of college admissions.
