Things You Should Have in Your Dorm Room
If you’re heading off to a university to obtain your college degree you’re probably going to be living in a ollege dormitory, there are a few things that you can invest in to make your life more comfortable.
It is a great idea to purchase a loft bed. If you do not know already, dorm rooms are notoriously small and you will be needing all the extra floor space that you can get. Loft beds are relatively inexpensive and it is quite easy to find a used one if you do a bit of searching locally.
Be sure to purchase a desk lamp or two. Fluorescent ceiling lights are not ideal for studying and the buzzing and flickers made by those types of lamps is very irritating.
You will have to pick up some linens which should include extra long sheets, a few towels, a wash cloth and a comforter.
It is also smart to purchase a small, compact refrigerator so you can keep milk and other items on hand. The price of this can be shared between roommates.
