UC Educators Lead by Example
In an encouraging turn of events, Utica College recently had some of their staff members earn a college degree. There is an old adage about leading by example and these educators have certainly applied that adage to their actions. According to the article titled “UC Faculty, Staff Earn Doctorates” by Amanda Damiano, “Sally Townsend, associate professor and director of occupational therapy, and Colleen Sunderlin, associate professor of occupational therapy, earned doctoral degrees from Syracuse University, while James C. Brown, assistant vice president of marketing and communications, earned a doctor of education degree from the University of Phoenix”. Utica College is a private institution that was officially launched by Syracuse University in 1946. Utica College offers a plethora of accredited classes and certification programs for everyone.
